…worshiped Lungu when he was enjoying the honey as a cabinet minister
By AARON CHIYANZO CHISHIMBA Kambwili was the largest praise singer for President Edgar Lungu when he was enjoying the honey as a cabinet minister but now admonishing him publicly after being fired, Mandevu constituency Patriotic Front (PF) secretary Lemmy Bwalya has charged.
And the PF in Mandevu has declared the constituency a no go area for the expelled Roan constituency lawmaker, adding that what Mr Kambwili touched becomes contaminated.
Mr Bwalya said that Mr Kambwili was the number one bootlicker and that he should not deny that he worshipped President Lungu when he was still in government.
He reiterated that Mr Kambwili was now a bitter man and insulting the finger that once fed him because he was no longer enjoying the honey. “Mr Kambwili cannot call any one a bootlicker because he is the number one bootlicker. He used to go round the country telling everyone that President Lungu was sent from Heaven, what a good leader and a blessing he is when he was minister. But now,” he said. Mr Bwalya said that Mr Kambwili, who was fired as a cabinet minister had no morals and that he should not step a foot in the constituency.
Meanwhile, Mr Bwalya, who congratulated President Lungu for remaining focused on uplifting the living standards of people, said that there was unprecedented development across the country. He said that Mandevu constituency had already endorsed President Lungu to lead beyond 2021 as he was a miracle worker. Mr Bwalya urged the general citizenry to ignore rantings by some disgruntled chameleon politicians who were bent on making the country ungovernable. He however disclosed that some close Members of Parliament from the opposition UPND had been secretly applauding President Lungu’s development agenda. And Mandevu constituency’s Justine Kabwe ward councilor, Teddy Mwaba said that Mr Kambwili was a curse to the nation as he was now insulting a leader chosen by God. He charged that cowardly leaders such as Mr Kambwili should be rejected and that he needed deliverance.
The councillor warned that Mr Kambwili would one day kneel before President Lungu, he had been demeaning for simply exercising his right to hire and fire.
