C/BELT PF THANKS VOTERS

-

By ROGERS KALERO

THE electorate in Chitwi ward in Luanshya and Luansobe ward in Mufulira have been prised by the ruling PF for voting for its candidates during the September 14 local government by-elections.

Copperbelt provincial Information and Publicity Secretary Kelvin Sinyangwe said the party was grateful that while some disgruntled politicians were busy fighting the PF and President Lungu, the electorate showed confidence in the ruling party and its leadership by voting for its two candidates.

Speaking in an interview after scooping the two local government seats, Mr Sinyangwe urged Zambians to stop listening to disgruntled politicians and opposition leaders who have failed to recover from the loss of August 11, 2016 elections.

He also thanked the party structures in the two districts for making sure that victory was delivered. “Those who are disgruntled are speaking ill of President Lungu every day will just outlive their usefulness in politics. It is only wise to talk when it matters, instead of making noise and repeating the same things like a broken record. If you are making noise every day, even your supporters may think twice about supporting you,

“Yes, Zambians are watching what President Lungu is doing. So they will make a decision which one is a better leader between those who are full of tantrums, “He said.
