HH BOLA PANSHI, ADVISES LUSAMBO

- By VIOLET TEMBO

“HH bola panshi! Your wish for the Zimbabwean situation to replicate back home will hit your party for you have failed to subject your position to an election to renew your mandate, be careful,” Copperbelt Minister Bowman Lusambo has warned.

Reacting to United Party for National Development (UPND) president Hakainde Hichilema’s statement the opposition leader made earlier when he arrived in Ndola yesterday, Mr. Lusambo charged that Mr. Hakainde has been desperate to govern the country.

He described Mr Hichilema’s statement as ‘baseless’ and urged Copperbelt residents to ignore him.

"It is unfortunate that HH opted to tell his members about the Zimbabwean situation instead of taking an opportunity to give answers to investments offshore he had been mentioned in and how he was involved in the privatization of mines. Zambians needs answers,” he said.

“And tell him that on the Copperbelt we do not tolerate lawlessness and that he is in a wrong province to start making statements about Zimbabwe.

The sitting President was democratically elected and he, HH has just imposed himself as party leader without renewing his mandate.”

Mr. Lusambo said Zambia was enjoying sound economy and its leader had exhibited selfless leadership by delivering on the expectations of the electorates that ushered him into power.

Mr. Lusambo asked Hichilema to step aside and leave room for others if he had developed phobia to face PF party President Edger Lungu in the 2021 general elections.

He said the party was solid and was not entertaining people such as expelled member Chishimba Kambwili.

He said Kabwili had no history which resulted in his failure to gain ground in the National Democratic

Congress.

Mr Lusambo advised Mr Kambwili not to underestimate his capability, saying that he was king of the province.

"No one knows the history of Kambwili in politics, with me people are able to relate that I was once a cadre, a die hard for MMD. Kambwili has no such thing. That is the reason why he cannot shake the party in the province," he said.

Mr. Lusambo also stressed that loyalty was key for one to succeed in politics.
