Traffic Police: Thanks Hon Kampyongo

-

Editor,

Extortionist and corrupt traffic police officers are no longer roaming the streets of Lusaka, thanks to the Government Hon Kampyongo who read out the riot act. Time is now to determine if Lusaka needs so many traffic officers who are never there when traffic is heavy at peak times in the morning and afternoon, especially when traffic lights are not working. This is where the officers should be and not extorting money. L.H. Banda Let us all make a difference

Editor,

We can all make a difference to this nation but please don’t tell me that only when one person becomes president will all people have three meals a day. I can’t buy into that and will never do because developing a country is a collective effort and no single individual can claim the prowess to sort out a country’s problems not even President Lungu alone can do that ,thus people shouldn’t be gullible to think that only when we have this rich guy can bail us out not true Davies Chiti Expedite development projects

Editor,

The call by President Edgar Lungu to expedite works on development projects is a welcome move. The only hindrance here could be lack of funds from the treasury. Let the government complete the current projects before embarking on new ones. Kitwe - Chingola dual carriage way is another project that had taken far too long to be done Kangwa Mulenga
