Aaron Banda went unopposed as tournament director while Linus Katebe scooped the disciplinary chairman post.

Speaking in an interview, Chilufya called on his executive committee to work hard to improve the standards of chess in the country.

He said the target was to groom young talent and mould future Grand Masters.
