And CAA technical director, Aziz Daouda expressed delight to work with ZAAA to develop the sport in the country and Africa at large. “We feel that athletics is very important in Zambia and the decision to host the center here is a good opportunity for athletes to develop. The centre cannot be successful without support from different bodies such as the national sports council and the Olympic committee,” Daouda said. ZAAA president Elias Mpondela hailed CAA for considering Zambia as the best destination for the athletics development Centre. And National Olympic Committee (NOCZ) of Zambia president, Alfred Foloko commended ZAAA through its president, Mpondela, for recording a 100 percent of success recorded in 2018.
