DC WARNS AGAINST TRIBAL REMARKS

YOU must desist from conflict-ridden and tribal remarks against medical personnel at Kalene Mission Hospital, Ikelenge District commission­er Victor Kayekesi has warned residents.

Mr Kayekesi called on residents to support new health personnel who have been deployed at the mission hospital.

This is aimed at addressing the human capital challenges that the health facility has been facing.

Mr Kayekesi told the residents during a public meeting that it was important that they embraced and supported the newly deployed staff at the health facility.

Meanwhile, Kalene health affiliate chairperso­n Christophe­r Kapinga thanked the government for supersedin­g in the human resource crises at the health facility.

He assured the government that the committee would give full support to the health personnel that have been deployed at the facility.

Government has deployed four medical doctors at the hospital to cushion the shortage of medical personnel.
