Zambia commands Nigeria and South Africa
Dear Editor NO sooner had the Black Mambas of Mozambique eliminated the Chipolopolo Boys from the 2019 AFCON, than the Green Falcons of Nigeria and Banyanabanya jointly and while working independently eliminated Shepolopolo from the Ghana Women AfCON via a 4 - 0 bashing and 1-1 draw respectively.
However, Zambia sneaked into the finals through Zambia’s most decorated woman FIFA referee in the name of Lengwe Gladys who was at the centre of the pith.
Truth be told, Gladys did her job professionally with the strongest command on the pitch.
This lady carried the Zambian flag high and it is my humble prayer that as the three African nations fly for the women World Cup, Lengwe Gladys will be representing Africa among the referees.
I appeal to all Zambians to rally behind this lady and give her all the support she deseves.
