‘I’m happy with development projects’
I AM pleased with the development that has taken place in my ward between 2016 and 2018, says Mushindamo district Mulonga ward councilor, David Katolo.
Mr Katolo told the Daily Nation that most of the development projects which were embarked using different funds had been completed.
He revealed that among the projects that had been undertaken and completed were a 1x3 classroom block at Luamala primary school using the ward development fund (WDF), a maternity wing at Kamisenga rural health post and a science laboratory at Kabisapi secondary school scheduled to be handed over this year.
He said construction of a 1x3 classroom block at Luamala school will give an opportunity to pupils in the area to get education and contribute to the development of the country.
My ward is one of those wards that has seen at least some development where infrastructure is concerned. A good number of projects were embarked in the ward using various funds such as the constituency development and the ward development fund.’’—
Mr Kalolo.

He also disclosed that a health post will be built at Kabisapi to shorten the distance the people covered in seeking health services.
He said the nearest health about 7 kilometers at Luamala.
‘’So, I’am hoping that the project could be considered in this year’s CDF so that people can access services within their vicinity,’’ he said.
Mr Katolo was also hoping that some funds could be allocated towards construction of a bridge at Luamala.
He said currently the bridge was in a deplorable state and was posing a danger.
