Betway Zambia ploughs back K64,000

AN international sports betting operator, Betway, has given back a total of K64, 000 to various communities through an initiative dubbed the “Multi Mania Promotion”.

The Multi Mania Promotion was conducted last December of which four winners of the weekly prize of K8, 000 each were picked.

The four winners in turn had to choose a charitable organisation of their choice which also received

K8, 000 each.

Winners of the weekly prize are Chentwana Chisuse, Mwila Mulula, Simon Daka and Joseph Muliata while the charitable institution include Sani Foundation, Bwana Works, Habitat for Humanity and In and Out of the Ghetto. Speaking during the cheque handover in Lusaka, Betway Zambia country manager Panji Kakube said the company values the support it had received from the communities to operate in, making their existence viable.

“As Betway, we value our clients, thus our decision to invest in human development and the general well-being of our society through the corporate social responsibility initiative tied to this promotion,” Kakube said.
