New political party born

A NEW political party known as Leadership Movement (LM) has been launched.

Speaking yesterday during the launch in Lusaka, party leader Richard Silumbwe said it was the mandate of the party to change Zambian politics.

Dr Silumbwe said the party would focus on bringing sanity on the political scene and improve the economy of the country.

He said that there was need to change the politics of character assassination saying that it had no importance to the country.

He said that the political party would focus on issue based politics that had a positive impact on the Zambian people.

Dr Silumbwe also said that the political party was concerned with the unemployment levels calming that his party would address the mat ter.

“Its jobs for the Zambian people, tax holidays to Zambians businesses. We need to support our local people,” Dr Silumbwe said.

And Party National Chairperson David Kalumba said the party would take party in the 2021 general elections.

He said that the party was confident of redeeming the country once it was ushered in government.

Dr Silumbwe also said that the political party was concerned with the unemployment levels calming that his party would address the matter.
