Kapijimpanga assures youths
ZAMBIA'S High Commissioner to India Judith Kapijimpanga has assured youths attending a 'Vision for Future- 2019 Summit' that Zambia is committed towards the plight of youths.
Ms. Kapijimpanga said that she was delighted to note that 'Vision for Future- 2019, was focusing on International Humanitarian Cooperation to achieve Sustainable Development Goals -SDGs.

She said that the theme was timely as achieving SDGs demand for effective collaboration with other well-meaning countries.
Ms. Kapijimpanga said Zambia was committed towards meeting SDGs set by the United Nations -UN and the Country will work with progressive Countries such as India and Russia as well as inspired minds such as the delegates at the Summit. She was speaking at the Russian Cultural Centre in New Delhi, India, when she addressed a 'Vision for Future- 2019 Summit' which coincides with the International Youth Day.
She said she was happy to note that five vibrant youths from Zambia - Mr. Ibrahim Mwamba, Mr. Mabvuto Tembo, Mr. Misheck Muzungu, Mr. Jerome Kanyika and Mr. Kalaluka Sepiso would join the summit to share experiences and learn from their colleagues.
She said that Zambia is encouraged that the summit had drawn youth participation from various countries across the world taking into account the need for youth empowerment in all spheres especially through people to people contact.
Ms. Kapijimpanga said Zambia was looking forward to a successful summit and the implementation of the resolutions thereof.
And Indian Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government Ramadas Athawale, said there was need for youths to be champions of national and global agenda.
Mr. Athawale said that the Government of India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done a lot to uplift the welfare of youths.
He said that he was glad to note that many countries among them, Zambia found time to provide insightful information to shape the youths for a vibrant future generation.
