Tanzanian paper in trouble again

NAIROBI – The Tanzanian government has issued a warning to the country’s leading English daily newspaper, The Citizen, accusing it of publishing misleading information.

It comes a week after it resumed publication following a seven-day ban. The government said the newspaper - together with its sister publication Mwananchi, which is published in Swahili - wrongly reported a story in their online editions for which it apologised.
