‘Rally behind PF’s Gen Simakoloyi’

KAFUE Constituency Patriotic Front chairman Gibson Sinkala has called on all members in the district to support the candidature of Brigadier General Moono Simakoloyi in the forthcoming district chairmanship by-elections.

And Mr Sinkala warned that he would not hesitate to discipline any PF member in the district who would not support the decision of central committee to adopt Gen Simakoloyi as the party’s candidate in the by-elections.

He said in an interview yesterday that it was the duty of every loyal PF member to respect and support the central committee decision and that all PF members in Kafue were duty bound to go flat out to campaign for Gen Simakoloyi.

“I’m urging every member of PF to respect and support the decision of central committee to adopt Brigadier General Moono Simakoloyi as our candidate. It is a duty for every loyal member of PF to go flat out and campaign for Gen Simakoloyi.

“Any member of PF in Kafue that will be seen not to support the decision of central committee will be dealt with accordingly,” Mr Sinkala said.

He said it was the duty of every loyal PF member to support the retired Zambia Army officer and ensure that the party won the by- elections slated for next month.

Meanwhile, Kafue District PF secretary Lazarous Sikaona also said the party in the district was happy with the adoption of Gen Simakoloyi as PF candidate in the by-elections.
