Solwezi DC wants more participants in Expo

ALL stakeholders in the district to must get involved in the upcoming North- western province investment expo, Solwezi District Commissioner Rosemary Kamalonga says.

The Expo North-West Zambia 2019 is slated for August this year and will be held under the ‘unveiling hidden treasure’.

Ms Kamalanga said there was need for stakeholders to come on board and be part of the expo as it would benefit the district. She was speaking when she toured the Kifubwa Engraved Rock painting withthe expo's sub-committee on publicity and marketing.

Ms Kamalonga said Solwezi being the provincial headquarters, stood to benefit more from the event because all investors getting into the province would have to first come through the district.

the event was not a one-man show but that it needed in the involvement of every stakeholder.

She has appealed to the business sector in the district to start cleaning and painting their buildings.

She said it was important that those with buildings especially within the Central Business District give a facelift to their buildings.
