PF youths warned against posting insults
ANY member who will be found posting insults on social media insulting senior party officials will be expelled and taken to police, PF Lusaka Province chairman Paul Moonga has warned.
Mr Moonga said it was sad that some youths had taken to insulting senior members of the party.
Speaking during a meeting in Chawama constituency to discuss mobilisation embarked on by the provincial executive committee, Mr Moonga said the party needed disciplined people.
Mr Moonga warned that any member who would be caught insulting be it ward chairman, section chairman, constituency chairman or central committee member would not be spared.
He said the party had no room for undisciplined people and appealed for respect and unity among members. Mr Moonga, however, urged district officials to remain disciplined if their juniors were to respect them.
At the meeting Mr Moonga also introduced a newly elected PF district chairman David Silubanje.
And Lusaka provincial secretary Kennedy Kamba said party mobilisation should not be left to senior members alone but that everyone should participate.
Mr Kamba called on members to sensitise the people in communities and across the country on the Patriotic Front’s development agenda which aims at improving people’s lives.
He said while others were sowing seeds of strife and discord, the PF should remain fully focused and dedicated to fostering unity and development for every Zambian.
Meanwhile, Mr Silubanje pledged to work with district officials in fostering unity in the party especially in Chawama
Mr Moonga was accompanied by Lusaka deputy provincial chairman Charles Chimumbwa, Mr Kamba and other senior party officials.
