Laura’s compulsive obsession with disparaging the Head of State and her selective amnesia regarding the voluminous catalogue of Zambia’s achievements under President Edgar Lungu’s stewardship, just goes to shows the extent to which she has lost not only objectivity but her humanity as well. It also shows the degree to which she has become something of a pandora’s Box. The “Pandora” myth is derived from a piece of Greek mythology centred on a woman named “Pandora” who had a jar containing all manner of misery and evil. She opened it releasing all the evils of humanity. In modern times an idiom “Pandora’s Box” has evolved from it meaning “A present which seems positively valuable, but which in reality is negative or even a curse”. Tragically, Laura Miti’s pretty mouth has mutated into a type of Pandora’s Box. Bordering on the sadistic, it seems to release nothing but dark utterances and all manner of miserable negativity. We repeat what we have always said; the Patriotic Front welcomes the criticism of Government leadership, because we sincerely hold that without criticism, leaders will not be accountable. However, criticising the work of leaders should not be confused with slandering them in their individual right or dragging them into Laura’s perverted jungle of Judgmentalism. Our sister has lost her sense of objectivity and she has become constantly negative and constantly blind to anything positive. And by losing her objectivity, she is losing trust and credibility in the public eye because she has become predictability anti-establishment. Her soul has become a lost in a maze of pessimism, covered by a dark cloud of paranoid distrust; her self-esteem and self-respect is consequently at stake. Laura’s soul teeters on the stone cold precipice of nether gloom. It is well known that Laura makes a fat living out of being nasty and sarcastic. She earns thousands of dollars out of imputing negative motivations. Ms Laura Miti is losing her ubuntu…she is losing her humanity. She needs to lose her cold hearted Pandora nature; and return to being a warm woman… to being human.
