Mubukwanu raises awareness on expo

-

The provincial administration is doing everything possible to ensure all stakeholders are involved in the exposition, North Western Province Minister Nathaniel Mubukwanu has said.

Mr Mubukwanu said the provincial administration had done what should have been done in terms of engagement and awareness though there is still room to increase the efforts that have been done.

‘’In this process, there is no finishing line and that is why we have continued to appear on various media platforms is to ensure that those that have heard about it should also in turn be able to share the information about what they heard,’’ he said.

He was speaking when he featured on a special programme on Kabangabanga radio yesterday.

The minister said there was a lot good will, motivation and determination among for people to see the result of the expo adding that a number of people had genuinely not heard about the expo, though they are very few.

‘’And of the things that we are about to do to ensure that we have everyone on board, today we will be writing a circular and a communique to the people through the various churches in the province so that they are aware especially those that are not aware,’’ he said.

And North-Western Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mukumbi Kafuta said the role of the chamber was to become a bridge between the efforts government was making with the business community.

‘’And that is why last month we decided to hold an expo road show here in Solwezi. The whole essence was about sensitisation among our members,’’ he said.
