Chilubi electorate urged to vote for PF

THE electorate in Chilubi has been urged to vote for Rosemary Chimbini of the PF for the position of council chairperson.

PF election campaign manager in Chilubi, Brian Mundubile, said people in Chilubi should vote for Ms Chimbini to help President

Edgar Lungu achieve his vision of a balanced male-female leadership.

Mr Mundubile, who is also Mporokoso Member of Parliament (MP), said President Lungu had always wanted a balanced leadership in his Government and time was now for the people of Chilubi to demonstrate their desire to see more women in leadership positions.

He said yesterday that Ms Chimbini was an experienced politician and would not fail to uplift the standards of women once given the opportunity to lead Chilubi Town Council.

"Women has their own desires to meet in life, they know their own problems but they need the support of their fellow women who understand these problems in order for them to resolve such problems and achieve their goals,” he said.

Meanwhile, Mr Mundubile bemoaned the vastness of

Chilubi constituency, stating that development would not be easy to deliver, unless it was split through delimitation exercise.

He said despite all the infrastructural development in health, education, communication, the road and water transport sectors that the PF government had delivered to Chilubi, many people were likely to be deceived because they could not easily notice that due to the vastness of the area.
