PF receives defectors in Luwingu

ABOUT 241 members from the opposition United Party for National Development (UPND), National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Rainbow Party in Luwingu have ditched their parties to join the ruling Patriotic Front (PF).
Mr. Mwamba said PF members should embrace newcomers regardless of the political parties they are coming from. He explained that the PF is a party that encourages oneness and does not segregate any person who joins them in fostering development at all levels in the country.
And Lubansenshi Member of Parliament, George Mwamba has advised PF Members to work with new members that are joining from other political parties.
Mr. Mwamba said PF members should embrace newcomers regardless of the political parties they are coming from.
He explained that the PF is a party that encourages oneness and does not segregate any person who joins them in fostering development at all levels in the country.
Mr. Mwamba said this during the party's mobilization meeting in Luwingu where he welcomed the defectors.
The Lubansenshi law marker stated that the party in the district is growing due to the unprecedented development witnessed under the leadership of President Edgar Lungu.
"Luwingu has immensely developed under the PF regime, we now have a mini hospital under construction, the first ever filling station, road infrastructure among other projects, “he pointed out.
Meanwhile, PF Northern Province Mobilization Coordinator, Jairos Tembo has encouraged party members in the region to remain united as the party prepares for the August polls. Mr. Tembo explained that it is time for the party to focus on growing its structures and lure more members from the opposition.
He said there is a need to promote, love peace and unity by all members at all levels of the party structures so that the party can continue to grow.
And Fred Mukuka, a defector has promised to adhere to the PF ideologies and pledged to support the party in all its activities.
Mr. Mukuka notes that the PF is the only party that has set out achievable goals for Zambians including people in rural areas.
The provincial mobilisation committee which is on a mission to strengthen the party and lure members from the opposition also held meetings with PF members in Chilubi, and Lupososhi districts. -
