- By NOEL IYOMBWA

IT’S encouraging the young generation have shown interest to be adopted for both parliamentary and local government seats across the country, Patriotic Front aspiring Chunga ward councillor Isaac Chomba has said.

Mr Chomba said in an interview that the number of young people who have shown interest to be adopted in respective seats in the ruling party is encouraging.

He observed that young people have always been used as tools for political violence by other political parties a situation which is different in the ruling party.

Mr Chomba said that young people should aim to be in part of the government rather than being used as seen in some other political parties.

He however cautioned all those hoping to be adopted to avoid causing divisions in the party but wait for the party to decide.

Mr Chomba also advised that respective incumbent members of parliament and councillors should be respected because they were legally voted into office.

Mr Chomba called on youths to denounce political violence by refusing to be used by selfish leaders. A number of young people have declared interest to be adopted in different seats across the country in the ruling Patriotic Front.
