TIONTION ...as Cosafa takes off in South Africa

ZAMBIA national team coach Milutin ÒMichoÓ Sredojevic has picked his final 24 bullets for the 2021 Cosafa Cup tournament in South Africa.

ÒMichoÓ had earlier named a 33-member provisiona­l squad before he included the under -7 duo of Miguel Chaiwa, Joseph Sabobo Banda and Kennedy Mweene's nephew Bradley Mweene who plays for ADS Sanjoanens­e, which campaigns in the Campeonato de Portuguese League.

AfCon winning goal keeper Kennedy Mweene will lead the Chipolopol­o at the Cosafa where Zambia has been drawn in Group A with hosts South Africa, Lesotho, eSwatini and Botswana. The Chipolopol­o will begin their title defence tomorrow when they face Lesotho at Isaac Wolfson Stadium before playing eSwatini on July 10 at the same venue.
