PF warns UPND

- By ROGERS KALERO

THE UPND is stuck and failing to provide direction because campaign lies have caught up with them and those who had confidence in them are equally ashamed and embarrassed of the new dawn,’’ the Patriotic Front (PF) has said.

And the PF Copperbelt Media Mr Director Munalula Moola has urged the electorate in Kabwata constituency to reject the UPND and its candidate Andrew Tayengwa because he was coming from an irresponsible party with no regard for the poor, but instead vote for Clement Tembo of the PF because he was a caring and generous man from a mature and caring party.

Mr Moola said the UPND and its leadership were failing to provide direction on how to fulfil its campaign promises because it campaigned on lies ahead of the August 12 elections and so it has to continue to tell lies to sustain the campaign lies and fake promises.

In an interview in Kitwe yesterday, Mr Moola said it was sad that instead of admitting that it was stuck, the UPND had resorted to telling lies and accusing the PF of everything retrogressive instead of working on its inefficiencies.

Mr Moola said because of the good interaction Mr Tembo has had with the people of Kabwata, some candidates were trying to smear him with the dirty because they have nothing to tell the electorate.

“Our candidate, Clement Tembo is a humble young man whose interest is to serve the people of Kabwata constituency. This is the reason why you will not hear him responding to tantrums or mudslinging.

“You know PF and what it is capable of doing for the vulnerable. After you decided to vote us out from power, we learnt one or two lessons and so you are able to tell which one is better party between the PF and UPND. So let us start with Kabwata to send a warning signal to UPND ,’’ he said
