LAND POLICY FRAMEWORK FINALISED, SAYS MUCHIMA
GOVERNMENT has disclosed that the land policy framework has been concluded.
Minister of Lands and Natural Resources Elijah Muchima said the frame work was being refined to ensure accountability.
Mr Muchima said a meeting was held with stakeholders to hear their concerns and decide on what changes can be made.
The minister said his ministry was doing everything to ensure accountability in land distribution in the country.
And Mr Muchima expressed concern over increased cases of double allocation of land that has persisted y especially in the Copperbelt and Lusaka provinces.
He said the ministry would put the situation to a stop.
