MALICE, LIES WILL NOT HELP UPND
... Just face the angry Zambians you lied to
THEPatriotic Front is dismayed at the blatant lies and ma licious propaganda the UPND is publishing on social media using its rogue online publications run by its secretariat and State House.
We want to make it clear to the peaceful Zambians that our Chairman for Information and Publicity Mr Raphael Nakacinda, our for mer Secretary General, Mr Davis Mwila and our acting Secretary General, Mr Nickson Chilangwa have never issued any statements to any reporter from the unethical UPND on line publications.
These childish and poorly written articles and fabricated statements being circulated on social media are aimed at tar nishing the names of PF lead ers and creating a false percep tion that there is division in the biggest opposition party.
They must be ignored as pure rubbish from a desperate regime.
We are fully aware that the lies are aimed at weakening our party, which is an illusion.
Even non-political observers are laughing at the clueless re gime’s desperation.
It’s shocking that a political party in power enjoying mas sive technical and financial support from its foreign mas ters who funded its campaign and continue to bankroll it has failed to come up with an effective and decent communi cation strategy to maintain the support of voters.
A party that has been boast ing of being the best govern ment ever is lamentably failing to use communication to deal with the growing public anger against its pathetic rule and the high cost of living.
We are aware that the fact that the PF is still strong and is getting stronger by the day is giving the UPND and its for eign masters sleepless nights.
This is why it has resorted to using its amateurish on line media outlets such as the Zambian Watchdog, Koswe and others to circulate lies and fake social media conver sations against the PF and its leadership.
It is not a secret that the me dia teams at State House and the UPND Secretariat are un der the full control of foreign ers who do not understand Zambians. Zambians have been relegated to the sidelines.
Our resolve as PF is to foster unity and love among mem bers and ensure that we go to the convention as a united force.
The only reason these desperate sections of the UPND and State machinery are publishing lies and mal ice is that they are scared stiff to see that we have remained a united PF as the flagship of the opposition yet they had de clared it dead and buried after the August 2021 elections.
We have remained formi dable and a force to reckon with. The UPND is confused and frightened that the mas sive support it enjoyed from Zambians, especially the youth, in 2021 is rapidly evap orating after failing to honour the promises it made.
The PF is not interested in the divisive and regional pol itics the UPND continues to thrive on. The ruling party is publicly pontificating about peace and national unity while at the same time using its rogue online publications to sow dis unity and hatred against indi vidual opposition leaders and their parties.
Our simple advice to the failed regime is: go and face the angry Zambians you lied to. Stop wasting your time on lies and hate mongering which will not save your failed regime from their wrath.
