Let me take this opportunity to appeal to those encountering cash flow challenges to immediately contact its tax offices so that it can facilitate for them to enter into the ' Time to pay Agreements’ that will allow them to pay outstanding taxes in Instalments
"It is my hope that throughout this event, you will have the privilege of learning from experts in tax administration who will guide you through various aspects of tax regulations, provide practical insights on commonly misunderstood tax concepts as well as address any queries that you may have,'' Mr Kapasa said.
Mr Kapasa said maintaining a satisfied and knowledgeable tax payer population was key to improving voluntary compliance and collecting more revenue.
He explained that it was for this reason that ZRA had set up a department to implement the operating model." This department will aim to ensure that we continuously improve our service delivery and regularly engage with our tax payers to bridge the information gap.
