The CEO of Vedanta-con­trolled Konkola Cop­per Mines (KCM), Steven Din, will join Strate­gic and Pre­cious Met­als Pro­cess­ing (SPMP) as CEO on Au­gust 1. He will lead SPMP’s new Oman an­ti­mony and gold pro­cess­ing fa­cil­ity, which is com­ing into pro­duc­tion.

“We wel­come Steven’s ar­rival at this im­por­tant time in the project as we start pr pro­duc­tion at our state-of-the art fa­cil­ity.

Steven’s wealth of ex­pe­ri­ence and lead­er­ship lea skills will now drive our strat­egy f for­ward d to es­tab­lish bl h SPMP as a sig­nif­i­cant global player in the in­dus­try,” said chair­per­son Khalid Al Ya­madi.

Ear­lier this week, Dhesh­nee Naidoo was ap­pointed CEO of Vedanta Re­sources’ Africa Base Met­als, a role that will see her be CEO of KCM as well as other Vedanta en­ti­ties.
