About Dairibord
DAIRIBORD HOLDINGS Limited is a Zimbabwe Stock Exchange ( ZSE)- listed dairy products manufacturing company. It produces a range of fresh milk and ready-to-drink and long-life milk products.
The company was first established as the Dairy Marketing Board under the Agricultural Marketing Act of 1951 and in 1994 the name of the company changed to Dairibord Zimbabwe Limited ( DZL).
In 1997, Dairibord became the first State-owned company in Zimbabwe to privatise and was listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange the same year.
In June 2001, DZL acquired 100 percent ownership of Lyons Zimbabwe business and formed a transport and Logistics company - NFB Logistics in 2003.
In 2006, the company transformed into a holding company with four subsidiaries — Dairibord Zimbabwe (Private) Limited, Lyons, Dairibord Malawi (Private) Limited, and NFB Logistics (Private) Limited — as the name of the holding company changed to Dairibord Holdings Limited ( DHL) from Dairibord Zimbabwe Limited ( DZL). Mercy Ndoro is the new Group Chief Executive of Dairibord. She has held the positions of Financial Accountant, Finance Executive, and Company Secretary of Dairibord Holdings Limited.
She was appointed Finance Director and an Executive Director of the Company in 2009.
She holds a Bachelor of Accountancy Honours Degree and an MBA from the University of Zimbabwe.
Mercy has a deep understanding of the business from experience in management positions spanning over 25 years in Dairibord and is firmly positioned to take the business through this transition period and beyond.
Mercy is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and completed Leadership Principles and Organisational Leadership (General Management Program) courses with the Harvard Business School.
She chairs Micro Plan Financial Services, a subsidiary of FBC Holdings.
