FLASHBACK. April 27, 24 years ago in 1993 was a very sad and horrific day to remember after a Zambian national team plane crashed off the coast of Gabon and saw all players and officials aboard perishing. We will always remember one of the players on the plane. — the late midfield maestro Derby Mankinka, who once played for a Zimbabwe club. It is by no means a political tsunami, but only internal issues demanding necessary dialogue and a way forward resolution. RESPONSE to “Bus accident kills five”: Buses are not supposed to exceed 80km/h in wide tarred roads and not exceed 60 km/h in urban areas. This is also inscribed on the vehicles as a reminder to the drivers and ZRP. But no one is enforcing that rule. — Cde Samanyanga.
