BULAWAYO, Monday, March 29, 1993 — Robust Maronga Nyangela led Black Rhinos to a stunning away victory over Shu Shine in a National Premier Soccer League match at Mandava Stadium, Zvishavane, yesterday.

Apart from scoring a double, Nyangela was in a class of his own each time he gained possession. He could easily have notched a hat trick had he not missed a 31st minute penalty.

It was Nyangela who opened the score sheet after 12 minutes when he intercepted a clearance by a Shu Shine defender. Rhinos scored their second goal six minutes later when Sanduka Pakamisa beat Shu Shine ‘keeper Isaac Malunga with a close range shot after a well-laid pass by Nyangela.

Rhinos piled relentless pressure and were rewarded with the penalty which Nyangela failed to convert. But he made amends moments later as he beat defender Misheck Makota by sheer speed before hammering the ball past Malunga.
