He is watching over you

Psalm 138 vs 7 NIV

“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life. You stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes; with your right hand you save me.”

Someone I know experienced the misfortune of being exposed to a daylight robbery, something close to a scene from a movie, coupled with guns and all the intrigue that comes with drama of this sort. After the event he calmed down and sought to make sense of the craziness he had just experienced, added to his own natural anxiety, he sat in disbelief.

We all go through crazy experiences that leave us thinking, “what was that about?” When we try to make heads or tails of it, we are left startled but in awe of how the Lord can be so gracious that He can take us out of the messes that life and people induce.

As I sought him out today he said, “I am off to church.” I suppose at the top of his mind this one thought resonated —there is a God and He is alive. What will it take for you to get to the same realization, that there is a God looking out for us everyday? Reach out to Him today.

Be blessed
