How full is your glass?

-

Psalm 23 vs 5 “You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”

Is your glass half full or half empty? This common expression is normally used as a test to determine how an individual views the world. Perception is key. The way you perceive something is the way you will receive it. At times we perceive God’s apparent inactivity as Him not caring. Life happens, and it’s very easy to get distracted and start focusing on our problems and challenges because they are right in front of us.

But maybe we should not be focusing so much on the glass. Why not focus on God, the one who gave us life, the one who fills the glass? What do you have? What has He already given you. Count your blessings one by one. Train yourself to look at everything from a faith-filled perspective, that way you will see that the glass is actually full.

Your life is filled to the brim with God’s grace and the richness of His goodness and glory. When you begin to view everything like that, from a positive viewpoint, you will begin to reap the harvest God promised you. Fix your eyes always on the Lord and your cup will overflow.

Be blessed.
