First Farai thanked Patson Chimboza of Chipaz Promotions for the fellowship meeting ahead of the festive season saying it was inspiring and rejuvenating considering their plight due to Covid-19 restrictions.

“On behalf of my fellow musicians present, I would like to thank Chipaz and Christ Embassy for the comfort, words of wisdom and groceries we received today,” said Farai.

“Covid-19 restrictions are still affecting artistes and things are not well.

“Kana mumba musina chekudya vana vanoshaiwa mufaro asi nhasi matigonera tichatambawo Christmas nemufaro,” he said.

Chipaz urged business people to continue addressing the needs of artistes considering that a number of them end up being their brand ambassadors.

“I give thanks to Pastor Ruth Musarurwa of Christ Embassy Ministries for heeding my call to partner in addressing the needs of the artistes,” said Chipaz.

“Artistes’ morale has been dampened by effects of Covid-19 and some of them are failing to make ends meet.

“It is my desire to see captains of industry giving a hand to these artistes considering that some of them end up shaping their images as brand ambassadors.

“Artistes need our support both spiritually and materially for them to grow and positively represent our companies and our nation,” said Chipaz.
