MERRY- MAKERS will be ushered into the new year in style when Econet Wireless hold the much anticipated virtual concert featuring the country’s heavyweights on December 31.

It is dubbed “2021 Tapinda Sesingenile Virtual Concert”.

South Africa based crooner Jonah Moyo is set to renew his romance with locals after being accorded a slot.

Showbiz stalwarts Jah Prayzah, Alick Macheso and Baba na Mai Charamba will lead an array of other artistes during the concert.

Gospel star Mathias Mhere, Sandra Ndebele, XQ and Jah Signal are set to take part in the event.

With a number of festivities line-up as merry-makers march into 2021, Econet Wireless has decided to sponsor this mega virtual concert.

It’s a must watch judging by the impressive line-up of artistes taking part in the crossover show.

Over the years, the concert which used to attract thousands of fans had become popular for merry-makers.

Fans would gather as early as sunset till the same hours of the new year’s day.

The only difference this time around is that there will not be a live audience, as has become the norm.

And in line with the Covid-19 restrictions, Econet decided to hold the virtual concert, a new normal in showbiz.

The Charambas are expected to pray for merry-makers on song

along with Mhere.

Jonah Moyo is expected to take fans down memory lane when he plays old numbers like Solo na Mutsai which made him a household name back in the day.

Macheso is also expected to add variety while outstanding male artistes of the year contender Jah Prayzah will be out to impress as

usual.

The 3rd Generation boss is known for his energy- sapping performances wherever he plays and what a better way to end 2020 on a flier.

Sandra, XQ, Jah Signal are expected to add variety as the mobile network provider will be honouring its subscribers.
