The incumbent will lead a multidisciplined workforce of storemen. The incumbent will implement systems and procedures in line with the company's stores management policy. WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR Reporting Structure Reports to the Mine Accountant Key competencies • Ability to plan, organize, lead and control work by a multi-disciplined workforce of Storemen • Good technical product knowledge • Good oral and written reporting skills • Good interpersonal skills Key Responsibilities • • • Manage the warehouse function and organization, ensuring that activities are carried out efficiently Develop departmental skills and competency levels using various methods Ensure compliance with ERP dictates and other internal control standards as required by legislation, both international and local Receive materials and ensure that they fully meet the required specifications as set out in purchase orders / agreements and arranging for inspection as necessary Ensure issuance of materials only against approved stock requisitions Store hazardous material according to the relevant safety standard and where appropriate carry out disposal properly and safely Manage and maintain a perpetual count system ensuring that all items are physically verified at least once per month Ensure that reporting on inventory activities is completed and submitted to the appropriate parties on time Ensure effective stock holding to sustain company operations Ensure effective management and implementation of Stores SOPs • • • • • • • Requirements • Degree or HND in Accounting / Economics / Supply Chain / Purchasing and Supply • CIPS Level 4 Diploma • Work experience in a mining or heavy manufacturing environment will be most preferred • At least five (5) years' experience at stores/warehouse supervisory level. email@example.com Friday, 26 Interested candidates should apply on by end of business day on Further details of this job opportunity will only be disclosed to shortlisted candidates.
