BABA HARARE, MADAM BOSS SIGN NEW DEAL
AFFABLE musician Baba Harare and comedienne Madam Boss reckon patience pays.
The two entertainers were yesterday all smiles after clinching ambassadorial roles with a leading commodity merchants and online marketing company PremierCredit Zimbabwe.
The two entertainers, who need no introduction on the local showbiz landscape, have been rewarded for their influence and high levels of engagement with fans and corporates for the greater part of the Covid-19-induced lockdown.
And yesterday saw the two revered entertainers being rewarded for their creative edge, simplicity and great artistry in general.
Under the new deal, Baba Harare will be marketing the firm’s new product — Serengeti bicycle — which has become a hit with fitness enthusiasts.
PremierCredit Zimbabwe Head of Marketing Felix Masuka said the two entertainers met their requirements.
“Baba Harare has all the qualities we require for him to market our new product — Serengeti bicycle — that we hope will become a hit with many people out there.
“He is a well-known fitness enthusiast who has managed to stay away from controversy and this deal will be permanent for him. The same applies to Madam Boss, who is also helping us on the marketing side considering her vast experience in the game,” he said.
Masuka pledged to assist Baba Harare and Madam Boss to fully market their products online during their tenure as brand ambassadors.
“We hope to work with as many artistes
as we can as is the case with the wellknown Serengeti Cycling Team promoting fitness among members of the public.
“As a company with branches in other countries like Zambia and Mauritius, we are confident of making great strides using the artistes that we have just selected at the moment. Of course, our core business is commodity merchants and online marketing where we hope to market our artistes as well on various platforms like Amazon and Spotify among other platforms,” he said.
Speaking shortly after inking the deal, Baba Harare could not hide his elation as he pledged to return the favour to PremierCredit Zimbabwe by delivering to his best.
“I have been longing for this opportunity where we are recognised as a social
influencer and role model in society.
“I will continue working hard promoting positivity through my music as well as engaging people.
“As you know, music is a therapy, which I am going to use and ensure that I change people’s lives. With regards to this new deal, I hope to do my best and promote their product and of course fitness.
“Fitness should become a lifestyle in Zimbabwe since it helps to fight diseases and also helps us to ease our sorrows.
“As such, I hope to become an exemplary ambassador who will not only work for this company, but fully utilise my influence and continue to provide entertainment to the people out there,” he said.
Madam Boss, who is a brand ambassador for a number of corporates, echoed similar sentiments.
