FC Platinum back home

FC PLATINUM arrived in the country yesterday from Senegal where they bowed out of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Zimbabweans lost 1-0 to Senegal’s Jaraaf who progressed on a 2-0 aggregate after a similar 1-0 win in the first leg at the National Sports Stadium a week earlier.

In the home game, FC Platinum missed a couple of clear chances, including a first-half penalty.

Tanzania’s Simba SC to miss out on the group stage.

The Zvishavane miners’ poor run in Africa has been blamed on lack of football in the country.
