TUTANI SUPPORTS VACCINATION

- Bruce Chikuni

SIMBA Bhora coach Arthur Tutani has urged footballers and administrators to get vaccinated after he received his first jab.

He was vaccinated at the Edith Operman Clinic in Mbare.

Tutani said there is nothing wrong with getting vaccinated.

“Matters to do with health should not be tampered with and it is a pity that some people are misleading the masses about the Covid-19 vaccine which is why some are hesitating to get vaccinated.

“The only way to abolish this global pandemic is to uphold and adhere to what the Government recommends,” he said.

Added Tutani: “It is important to inspire and share my experience about the vaccination programme with everyone.

“A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle. I will try to convince the Simba Bhora football family to get vaccinated only if they are willing and I urge people to always mask up and sanitise their hands in order to curb this dreadful disease,” said Tutani.

Tutani is optimistic of positive achievements ahead of the resumption of the football activities.

“I am eyeing for the championship not to equal the record of those ahead of me but to bring the premier soccer league to Shamva football fanatics.

“I am eagerly waiting to get my second jab on May 25,” he said.
