Miracle Boy feels best yet to come

- Curtworth Masango

YADAH defender, Lennox Mucheto, believes the best is yet to come from the Miracle Boys as they plot to fight their way out of relegation trouble.

He saluted the fans, who have been standing with the team, through some difficult times.

The Miracle Boys have found some form of late, and are coming from an impressive 3-1 away win over Tenax at Sakubva. “It’s always good to know that there is someone backing you up even when you are down,” said Mucheto.

“Our fans have been a bedrock of inspiration. “I encourage them to stay positive as more good results are going to come our way. “The team has been improving on a daily basis. “We have been organised and playing well from day one, despite failing to collect maximum points. “We are capable of winning against anyone and we are now believing in ourselves.

“It’s not good for a team to be in the relegation zone, every team’s ambition is to be somewhere up on the table, there is more pressure when you are in the red zone.”

Mucheto was delighted with their second win of the season at Tenax.

“It’s always great to collect maximum points. That’s what every team plays for. l feel happy for the team as this was what was missing before.

“The lack of good execution, in front of the goal, was letting us down before and this time around we managed to take our chances well.

“An away fixture is always difficult because of a lot of factors but the most important thing, while playing away from home, is just to give maximum concentration.”

The Miracle Boys are in 15th place, with 11 points, from 12 matches.
