A new sound is about to hit the music scene early this year 2022, as a new gospel singer called Mildred Matiza emerges on the scene.

Her name in full on its own signifies something special, graceful and beautiful about her sound and that’s what she aspires to reveal in her music this 2022.

The Harare based music gem has a band, unique, and consists of young and passionate musicians coming together with their unique gifts to become one collective music family sharing their unified message of God’s Kingdom, and every member of the group is also an independent gospel artist in their own rights.

According to Matiza, hers is a faith response to the word of God in 2022. With her debut single titled “Your Grace”, it is testimony that Matiza has a vision to create an extraordinary league of worshippers to loud God’s praise to the ends of the earth.

“We have a worship mandate as a “new order of Levites” and we have an evangelical mandate to preach the gospel of the saving grace of Jesus through songs. We invite the whole world to join us on this epic journey” say the seemingly uplifted musician.

With a lot of planned projects set in place starting with her debut single set for later this year, Mildred Matiza is fully ready and is hitting the ground running. Her upcoming projects include Singles, Videos, Concerts and so much more lined up for the year already. You will be seeing a lot of her as she plan to take over the air space on networks and media.

Born on Valentine ’s Day back in 1995, Matiza started her music career in 2013 as a rookie singer, However her passion for music catapulted her into the mainstream music scene in November 2019 when she started working on her gospel project professionally. As a kid growing up in Gweru, she says she had always believed that her love for music and the strong Christian background will give her a good chance in the music fraternity.

With her, music comes naturally and the testimony is in the strong vocal melodies one can hear from her hit “Your Grace”. Such is a good work on the song that one can confuse the song for an international, seasoned artist.

Matiza draws a lot of support from her husband who she says has been the biggest fan since the beginning, apart from him also being a passionate follower of the Gospel, and music in general. She aspires to bring a lot of good work to the gospel music platform. And her plans are to become one of the greatest musicians to emerge from the motherland. Despite being gainfully employed, Matiza desires to build a sustainable career in the music industry, with the coming album in 2022 being the first step towards building a legacy for herself through her spiritual gift.

For the year, her fans must look forward to several songs that will eventually feed into her album. And plans are also in place for her to support the songs with state of the art albums and visual demonstrations. A number of the songs will also include collaborations with seasoned and upcoming artists to create a blend that will capture the attention of fans from all walks of life.

The sky is the limit for Mildred Matiza. She draws a lot aspirations from the great Takesure Zama, who she believes one day will be able to work with on a project or many. She also admires the great Nigerain songstress, Sinach and judging on the song Your Grace, it is only a matter of times before she reaches the levels of such international ministers of the word through music.

Mildred is also keen on taking up the stage and her husband, who also acts as her manager, said they are working on stage performances as a means to take the music to the world. She is open for booking on 0775488866 or 0773359014
