BABA HARARE, MAI TT RECONNECT
BABA Harare and Mai TT’s musical romance is paying off with the duo set to release another collaboration titled ‘‘Tambira Kunze.’’
It comes on the heels of the track ‘‘Rita,’’ which was a product of the pair’s collaboration, last year. In an interview with H-Metro, Baba Harare said the track ‘‘Tambira Kunze’’ explores boundaries of a relationship.
“The song is about respecting boundaries in relationships. It’s a reflective piece about protecting the sanctity of any relationship.
“In short, Tambira Kunze simply means stay away,” he said.
He said he was happy to work again with Mai TT. “I am so happy to make another hit song with my friend and comedienne, Felistas.
“I hope the fans will receive our latest offering with the same enthusiasm and energy as they gave Rita,” he said.
The Reason Why hit-maker described his friendship with Mai TT as professional.
“Mai TT is a very good friend of mine both on professional and personal levels.
“I guess we clicked because of our work ethic and love for our fan base.
“Mai TT is passionate about music and comedy, so am I. I guess it was inevitable that we would get along.”
Baba Harare said working with Mai TT was productive. “Mai TT is very professional and she respects her time as well as other people’s time, when it’s business, she means business.”
Meanwhile, Baba Harare disclosed that the first quarter of the year has been rewarding.
“I got to meet my fans after a lengthy lockdown,” he said.
“I had a fantastic UK tour and I continue to play nationwide almost every weekend, I can’t complain,” he said.
