Trevor Dongo, Nyasha David combine forces
LADIES man, Trevor Dongo, and Nyasha David will tonight serenade fans with a joint show at Woods Pub & Grill dubbed ‘‘Ultimate Appreciation Vibe’’.
In an interview with H-Metro, Dongo said he was honoured to be part of the show dedicated to ladies.
“I feel very honoured to be sharing the stage with my little brother Nyasha David, who is doing well.
“Despite the fact that we have a great collaboration together (titled Zvakaronga), we have not really performed the song that much.
“This is going to be a good platform for us to do so,” he said.
Dongo said it was high time men appreciate ladies for the good things they are doing in society.
“May is an important month and most of our music talks about how much we appreciate women.
“We then decided to do something for the women before the month ends,” said Dongo.
He urged fans to show up in numbers.
“The doors open early for those early birds and the events end before curfew.
“Entry is free and this will give everyone an opportunity to come and enjoy some good music that is worth a fortune but free of charge.
“There are other surprise acts that are going to be present on the day so it is a show not to be missed,” he told H-Metro.
Dongo added: “I think the organiser of the event is a fan of our music, that is why they came up with the idea of putting us on the same stage.”
Show organiser, Eddie Chagonda, said it was all systems go for the show.
“It’s a free show featuring the two RnB stars and we are looking forward to this event.
“We realised that it was high time we appreciate our women and decided to come up with this joint show.
“This show is in line with what we promised our fans,” he said.
Chagonda said Dongo and David’s show was part of the countdown to the Kings Concert slated for the same venue on May 29.
The show will feature Cassper Nyovest and Jah Prayzah in a battle of the best from either side of the Limpopo.
Meanwhile, Wood Pub & Grill will host the South African duo of Sdala and Paige on May 14.
