There is a dilemma in informing the police about a wanted person in that they end up frustrating the informants. So, at the end of the day, many prefer to remain mum with the information. I feel the informants should be protected and there should be affidavits to be signed so that they remain safe. With the high rate of corruption, some detectives end up silencing the sources in favouring the culprits. So, protect the informants and don’t interrogate them. -

The law on corporal punishment is critical but ama2k hamusi kunyatsovaziva, vanoda kumbodhonzwa dhonzwa nzeve idzodzo. The law has weakened the teachers but, however, the students should also be disciplined. Discipline is critical in a learner’s life at school and after school. - PARENT.

The case of deaths by shooting on our fellow Zimbabweans in South Africa is reaching frightening levels. We have to wonder because we are losing our own in the Diaspora. Let’s try to reside in areas where we are safe. Imagine losing the entrepreneur Mandebvu. It’s really sad to read such news. We have many who have survived gunshots, robbery cases, mugging etc. Let’s be safe out there and make sure we comply when they pounce on you. - LALA.

Get sponsors, don’t target gate takings. Reduce the entrance fee even to a $1 it’s much better to get a fully loaded stadium and introduce fun games, competitions and music before the kick-off. - STAR KING.

Technology remains one of the most important things and it helps us in many ways. The man who lost his valuables to thieves, who broke into his car, has something to thank for technology. The car recorded the incident on its own and showed some faces of the thieves. We hope he will be able to recover his valuables. - CITIZEN.

Our local musicians should promote our local culture. Most Western promoters prefer to host Zimbabwean musicians who use traditional instruments like Mbira, hosho and ngoma. Let them do that and they will conquer the world. - LIBERT MAHOSO,

Faking death is not good. Tose hapana anoda kufa kunyangwe Jesus akati “Baba kana zvichibvira mukombe uyu ngaudarike”. Uye akatochema kurwadza kwerufu, eloi eloi lama sabachthani. Mazuva edu ngaawedzerwe panyika kwete kushuwira rufu. — NYASHADZAMWARI
