OH Legends share spoils with Trek

- Curtworth Masango

TREK FC salvaged a draw in an eight-goal thriller against OH Legends on Sunday.

Both teams had a chance to snatch victory, but they fluffed a number of opportunities, and eventually settled for a 4-4 draw.

Trek FC, however, felt they were robbed by the referee, accusing him of making a number of dubious decisions against them.

One of Trek's senior players, Tafara Chipando, said they were unhappy with some of the referee's decisions.

‘‘We feel we were robbed by the referee. ‘‘He made a number of questionable decisions.

‘‘However, it was a good game. Our team is now returning to its best.

‘‘Remember, we resumed playing about three months ago, since the Covid-19 break.

‘‘So, being in a position to challenge our old rivals, is a good reflection on ourselves.

‘‘We are now shifting our focus to our next game to see how we will fare before we go on the festive season break,'' he said.
