GRANDPA SOBS IN COURT

AN 80-YEAR-OLD grandpa sobbed in court after being granted a protection order against his abusive granddaughter.

Magistrate Tamara Chibindi was convinced by Sekuru Augustine Marora’s submissions that his granddaughter, Shamiso Zhanye, had been harassing him.

He begged the magistrate to help him evict Shamiso from his house.

Sekuru Augustine stated that his granddaughter had a tendency of bringing traditional healers to his house.

“I have no peace in my house and I no longer want her to continue living with me.

She does drugs and is in the habit of selling my valuables to buy drugs.

“Another thing is that my granddaughter brings her boyfriends to my house and I don’t like it,” he said

In her counter argument, Shamiso said her grandfather was lying against her.

“He knows that I am a traditional healer and he gave me permission to do consultations at his house.

“I don’t do drugs and I think old age is catching up with him,” she said.
