MAI KOKO IN US$3000 CHILD SUPPORT ARREARS
UNITED States based socialite, Rumbidzai “Amai Koko” Ashley, has been summoned by the US County Department of Child Support for failure to pay over US$3 000 in child support.
According to the court papers in possession of H-Metro, the social media influencer attempted to appeal the order, but her efforts have hit a brick wall.
The California Court documents indicate that the amount increases every month.
Contacted for comment, Mai Koko was evasive.
Part of the court papers by the County Department of Child Support reads:
“This notice is to advise you that you are delinquent in paying your court ordered child support.
“As a result, liens may have already been placed on your personal and real property and you have been reported delinquent to credit reporting agencies.
“To avoid other serious enforcement actions for non-payment of child support, you must take immediate action. Federal and state law requires that child support be withheld from your pay if you are employed.
“If you are working, notify us of your employer’s name, mailing address, physical address and telephone number immediately. You must also notify us of any changes in your residential or mailing address.
“If you are unemployed or self-employed, you may have your payments automatically deducted from your checking account.”
