Boss Lappa lashes out @ Baba Junior
ACTOR and singer, Last “Boss Lappa” Mashaishe, has accused comedian, Baba Junior, of stealing one of his story lines.
Speaking to H-Metro, Boss Lappa said he was disappointed by Baba Junior’s conduct.
“Baba Junior takes advantage that he has a huge following than me and steals my ideas.
“I just want him to own up before l take matters to court.
“I produced a film titled ‘Ukadya Wemumwe Unodyirwawo’ and a few months later, he also produced a film exactly like mine, but with different actors,” he said.
Contacted for comment, Baba Junior, whose birth name is Thompson Muzondiwa, denied ever stealing any storyline.
He said he got the idea from a joke and one of R Kelly’s acts.
“I never stole his idea, I started to know about this man when he approached me accusing me of stealing his content.
“I saw a joke circulating on WhatsApp and one of R Kelly’s acts and I decided to make a short film on it.
“I have a massive following and liking because I am good at what l do. I don’t copy what other people do,” he said.
