MAHACHI’S MZANSI FLING
CONTEMPORARY gospel singer, Tatenda Mahachi, is all smiles after his performance in Polokwane, South Africa, on Saturday night.
The singer made a guest appearance at Mapula Monyepao’s live DVD and CD recording at Sun Meropa Casino.
Mahachi also got the chance to perform his recent duet with Dr Winnie Mashaba.
“We had an amazing time on stage and I can safely say my music is making an impact in South Africa, through the few collaborations I have had, with their stars.
“The venue was sold out and I was impressed by the atmosphere and hospitality from my counterparts,” said Mahachi.
The Harare-based singer, known for supporting local charities, has also hinted on hosting a similar event in Harare and Bulawayo.
“I will be hosting Dr Winnie Mashaba and a few other musicians in a concert in Harare and Bulawayo.
“I hope the fans are ready for this one too. “This is the gift to my fans to have something to look forward to during the festive season,” he said.
Mahachi released his first album, Muyedzo in 2007, and his second album, Kure, before rising to prominence in 2013.
His music is centred on lobbying Christians to return to the principles of Christianity.
