THREE FOR MLALAZI
AWARD-WINNING gospel musician, Everton Mlalazi, is set to end the year on a high note after being nominated in three music awards categories.
The Ndomutevera hit-maker is making waves with his new song Nyasha Dzashe, which is receiving commendable airplay.
He has been nominated at the upcoming Africa Arts Entertainment Awards, Bulawayo Arts Awards and Matabeleland Awards show.
Mlalazi’s investment into musical concerts seems to be paying off.
“I feel excited and humbled that our work is being appreciated and recognised.
“Much appreciation goes to the EM & Worship Therapy team led by my manager Gamu Mlalazi, and our music director Nigel Nyangombe, for all the concerted effort and support.
“I am humbled by the support from The Vine Choir,” he said.
The Vine Choir boss said the nominations are an indication of the appreciation they are getting.
“After being nominated for the Africa Arts Entertainment Awards, the Bulawayo Arts and the Matabeleland Arts as outstanding gospel artist or male artist of the year, I appreciate everyone for the recognition because it also encourages us to keep working.
“Nyasha Dzashe has since gained commendable response by gospel music lovers because it’s a bit out of my comfort zone as it is slow to mid-tempo.
“We are almost done with our second album, which is powerful in worship, and we are pleased to say that our fans will have it by the beginning of the year,” said Mlalazi.
Nyasha Dzashe is sending social media
users into a frenzy.
The gospel artiste has managed to hold big concerts across the Limpopo with Soweto
Gospel Choir, Benjamin Dube, Janet Manyowa, Minister Michael Mahendere and Ntokozo Mambo, among others.
