FROM MUGEYI TO SEEMA

-

WILFRED MUGEYI and Norman Mapeza are part of the ex-coaches’ museum at Chippa United — probably the world’s most chaotic football club.

Trigger-happy club owner, Siviwe “Chippa” Mpengesi, has just struck again.

He has fired Lehlohonolo Seema, the man who helped his side escape relegation, on the final day of the season last weekend.

Seema said Chippa will one day regret his wild actions.

“It’s very true that I’m no longer with Chippa United, and you know how the chairman [Siviwe Mpengesi] works,” Seema told FARPost.

“Very disappointed. But God will open another opportunity for me. One day the chairman will regret the way he’s treating people.

“I was told that the club has other plans. I hear the rumours saying that Morgan Mammila is coming back to the club.

“But, it’s not a problem; I’m fine, and I will never go back. I helped where I can.”
